Prefab office
High-speed internet connection and affordable technology have enabled a lot of people to work from home. Remote work has its advantages, for example it eliminates commuting, but it can be very lonely. Bigger companies have also established that remote work fails to provide the same creative output as working together with coworkers. They started introducing collision spaces which are redefined conference rooms, in other words bigger common rooms which encourage collaboration and creative problem solving. Similarly, independent contractors and freelancers started coworking, which means they rent out a work station in a common office space where they can work and also socialize with other otherwise work-at-home professionals. This provides them with more creative office space as well as a supportive community. And lastly, prefab offices were meant to solve temporary needs for more office space, yet have become, in many cases, a permanent solution to it. They are comfortable and offer all amenities of traditional office space, and due to their easy and cheap installation ever more popular as a high quality office space.
