Four-star camp Danica Slovenia is situated near the town’s center of Bohinjska Bistrica, next to the Sava Bohinjka River, in an unspoiled alpine nature three kilometers away from the lake. Bohinj camping received an ECO certificate, as it operates according to the principles of sustainable environmental development. The campground stretches over four hectares and has more than 200 pitches in marked and unmarked areas. Bohinj Lake camping has three zones that are set in the shade of trees, next to the river and near playgrounds and reception area. Bohinj camping also offers renovated facilities with modern equipment, such as the laundry room, motorhome service point and electric car rental. Within the campsite, facilities offer many sports and other campsite activities, such as tennis and volleyball courts, bike rental, morning yoga and more. There are also many campsite activities for children, including various workshops, events, and big wooden playground.
